We have a number of level 50s now, but only a few of us running Hard Mode Flashpoints/Dailies to gear up. I figured I'd start a thread here to point this out and see what can be done to help everybody get the stuff they need for running Operations. As "easy mode" as Normal Mode Operations are, there still is a height requirement to get them done. Who needs stuff and what can we do to get it done?
I could use help gearing up with the Heroic 2+ if people have time, I realize my online time has been low lately. I can try to be on all of Friday night if people don't mine running those with me and some heroics. I would really appreciate it. I'll try to work out an online schedule so I can maybe be on at set times to work with people to gear up.
My current "need to still run" list for Sarene's Columi set: - Boarding Party (Gloves) - Battle for Ilum (Offhand) - False Emperor (Chest) - Directive 7 (Legs) Anything else (Black Talon, Foundry, Kaon Under Siege) is stuff I would prefer seeing other DPS running if they're online. I'll fill in groups for those so people can actually run them, but I don't need to run them (unless you count gearing up Khem Val as somewhere on my priority list, harr harr). If we have enough people on and require more tanking, I can pull out Vauthil for it, but with Zilena and Valdyr on the roster I don't think that's strictly necessary (basically if we have everybody on and running stuff, we can pair off Kiito with Valdyr and Bacon with Zilena and smoosh two more DPS with each pair). It's optimal if we group up folks such that we cover all the tokens (Warrior, Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter and Imperial Agent) but I know such matchups aren't always going to happen (largely because with Valdyr tanking, there's only one endgame IA in the guild). If folks need/want a group up to run the Ilum/Belsavis dailies, notate that as well. Running the two HEROIC 2+ between those planets will net you an artifact (purple) 22 (lv49) mod and an artifact 22 enhancement each day. That's basically a week of running them if you don't get gear from running HM FPs and you'll have every slot filled (if you're really impatient of course you can just buy your way to victory; the mods and enhancements fluctuate wildly on price in the GTN, of course). The 23 armorings and 22 mods/enhancements in every slot basically marks you as more than ready for ops (although the Columi from running HM FPs obviously will get you even higher in the totem pole of gear).
